SAP Delivery Manager

Job Role / Responsibility: 

• Ability to handle multiple projects as Delivery head with respect to SAP Implementations, Migrations, upgrades, rollouts, and AMS.
• Delivery experience of minimum 2 End to End S/4 HANA Greenfield Implementations right from initiation to Deployment as a Project Manager.
• Experience as PPQM SME for at least 5 years, should have handled at least 2 end-to-end Implementations as PPQM SME
• Responsible for managing planning and overseeing Technology project delivery and operational acceptance of solutions deployed into production. Ensure the adherence of standards and SAP best practices
• Experience providing Technical & People leadership for project team by building and motivating team members to meet project goals, adhering to their responsibilities and project milestones.
• Responsible to manage, grow, and mentor SAP consulting team for their technical and personality development. Take initiatives for competency building and skill enhancements.
• Lead cross-functional teams to understand current state, future state landscape, organizational, master data and business processes and requirements.
• Lead configuration requirement efforts and work to ensure S/4 HANA settings meet customer requirements identified with customer.
• Lead development of functional specification activities and interface effectively with the Development teams to translate Functional Specification documentation into Technical Specifications and the development of technical designs
• Lead security teams to Identify local security requirements and the creation of necessary security profiles.
• Work with the onsite teams to organize conference room pilot events designed to demonstrate the system post build (Configuration and Development) activities to showcase the incorporation and validate requirements.
• Work with onsite PMO teams to plan and schedule participation of key stakeholders in testing activities. Provide leadership, guidance, and support during management of the execution of testing activities monitoring progress.
• Work with Training team so they develop necessary training materials. Work with Training Factory to understand training content as part of Train the Trainer sessions. Work with local management to plan and schedule participation of key stakeholders in end user training activities.
• Ability to focus on planning & monitoring the quality aspects of team’s deliverables along with Project Manager and ensure right change management & communication is established.
• Responsible for resource planning, aligning with overall business plan & ensuring targeted team utilization is achieved.
• Driving Business value add activities and managing P&L account of key clients.
• Familiar with tools and technology necessary to manage SAP ADM projects (Ticketing tool, monitoring tools, Demand/Capacity management tools, Monitoring tools and automation, SAP OSS, Project tracking etc.)
• Experience in 3rd party vendor management and liaison and Should be capable of handling small/medium size team.
• Should have worked in dynamic environment with mix of Gitakshmi and non-Gitakshmi teams.
• Should be able to influence decision-making and able to drive project delivery.
• Capable of driving initiatives for base account growth, GP/productivity improvement through ticket analytics, automation, lean etc.
• Should have very good overview of SAP. Not necessarily hands on but should be able to organize team and resolve critical situation or complex requirements.
• Excellent financial management skills: Cost management, receivables, profitability analysis and reporting.
• Ambitious individual who can work under their own direction towards agreed targets/goals and with creative approach to work.
